There is No Place Like Home

It’s true there is no place like home, and let’s face it the Edwardsville area is a pretty amazing place to live. So we are beyond THRILLED to be returning to the area. Yes, the area is great, but what we are really excited about is being close to our friends and family again.  We missed our friends SO MUCH! Life without great friends, just isn’t life. So we are happy, very very happy. ; )

It has been hard not saying anything about the move or Jakes new job, but I promised him I wouldn’t and I think I did a pretty good job. Okay, so most of you already knew, but still. We are thrilled to be back. It all happened out of nowhere. Jake got a phone call a couple weeks ago from a place he was hoping to work at before he started down here in Marion, but it didn’t work out. Well, they asked him if he was still interested in the job and if he could start the next day. LOL He told them he couldn’t start the next day, that he would have to give his current job a notice first, but that he would love the job. So.. YAY!!! I’m so excited for him, I know he is really looking forward to this new job. Plus I will get to see him more because it’s only 4 days a week, can’t beat that!  Long story short, Jake got a new job in Collinsville, we are so excited to be back and he starts this Monday! Woohoo!!!

So the only depressing thing about this is we do not have a place to live yet.  We have been looking, but that is a whole different post. We are keeping this place till the end of March, so hopefully we find something by then so we only have to make ONE trip! We will be staying with my parents until we find a place so friends, we will be seeing you A LOT in the next couple weeks. ;)
